InterQuery. The Internet Query Company

Bringing Metasearch to Your Web Applications

InterQuery Software develops and licenses a suite of web search products that quickly add features and value to web portals and applications.

Our products provide innovative features enabling users to better manage their search and research activities. Users can go deeper into the web with our products than they can with traditional search engines. Our products can be seemlessly and rapidly integrated into our customers' web sites and portals.

  • IQE Metasearch allows users to query all the popular search engines at one time. It can be targeted towards your own data sources or the Deep Web, targeting specific data contained in back-end databases and catalogs, in multiple topics.
  • IQE Product Search queries over 200 of the most popular web merchants in 18 shopping categories.
  • IQE Job Search queries over 75 of the most popular job boards in 35 job categories and over 300 nationwide locations.

Powering Your Data Sources

InterQuery offers many existing sources of domain-specific data as well as the ability to quickly use your own internal or subscription data sources for search applications. New searches can be built using a combination of any "inside" or "outside" data sources, with prioritization of results set by you or the end-user.

From an Expert
Citing an article from Chris Sherman, one of the most respected search engine experts: "Think all search engines provide essentially the same results? Think again. …research shows that there is very little overlap in search engine results ... in most cases, even the top ten results vary significantly from engine to engine".

The Deep Web

"There's a big problem with most search engines, and it's one many people aren't even aware of. The problem is that vast expanses of the Web are completely invisible to general purpose search engines like AltaVista, HotBot and Google. Even worse, this "Invisible Web" is in all likelihood growing significantly faster than the visible Web you're familiar with".
