Overview

InterQuery has been a pioneer in the delivery of real-time views of data aggregated from multiple sources. Since its founding in 1998, it has developed patented technology that enables data to be accessed in real-time, regardless of location or format. InterQuery's Internet Query Engine^TM or IQE^TM is a specialized Application Server that provides a platform for delivering information from web sources (HTML, XML, RSS,and flat files), deep web sources, and relational databases. Our IQE-based products allow busineses to increase the value of their current portals and web applications by providing valuable additional features to their users.

IQE is entirely based on industry standards: Java, HTML, HTTP, XML, RSS, SOAP, JDBC; this guarantees the long-term stability and protection of our customers' investments. The technology is flexible, extensible and scalable and can be used in a variety of operating environments, including leading operating platforms, industry-leading Application Servers and Enterprise Information Portals. This versatility enables IQE to accommodate our customers' evolving needs and environments.

Brief History

Founded in July of 1998, InterQuery rapidly brought its first product to market. As early as December 1998, the prototype was demonstrated to several prospects, and two important contracts were signed in the second quarter of 1999, less than a year after its founding. One of these customers went public in May of 1999, using our product to power a major feature of their website. In the next three years the Company went on to raise two rounds of venture capital and to win dozens of customers.

By then the technology's architecture had matured into a base platform supporting the rapid development of additional IQE products or custom applications. Additional minor and major features were constantly added to the product making it the first licensed software product in the market to enable the rapid deployment of new web applications based on the query and aggregation of heterogeneous data. The burst of the Internet bubble, the ensuing economic crisis and the catastrophic and deeply troubling events of the past three years considerably slowed the progress of the company, but InterQuery is now one of the proud survivors of this hard period of maturation of the Internet industry.

The IQE product line is now in its third major release.
