IQE MetaSearch

The IQE Metasearch product is the best in its class among metasearch engines. It offers its users functionality that none of the other metasearch engines offers, including well known metasearch engines such as DogPile.com, Mamma.com and Search.com.

Users can choose which search engines they want queried, how long the query should last, how many results they want from each search engine, the maximum number of results, and the number of results per page. Furthermore, users can save their search parameters so they can easily rerun the search at a later time.

IQE MetaSearch is also the first to enable users to pick a "short list" of their search results, add personal notes, and save them. It is the first to clearly mark the ranking of the underlying search engine results, and to offer the user the ability to get separate results sets for natural results and sponsored results.

IQE Metasearch is the only metasearch engine that queries all well known search engines. In total, 20 search engines are queried, including Google, MSN, Yahoo, AltaVista, Ask and Lycos. Despite claims by many other metasearch engines that they query many search engines, repeated searches rarely yield results from more than a few of them.
