IQE Product Search
The IQE Product Search is a combination of product search and comparison shopping. It queries a large number of merchants in anyone of 18 shopping categories, and returns the aggregated results to the user. Each result contains, (if available from the merchants sites) the product name and/or description, its price, the URL of its image, its availability, and the shipping costs.
In some of the shopping categories, the search is a two-step process: the first step in the search is to search a "reference" database for this category and to return to the user a choice of products. The second step is for the user to pick one of these product and "go shop" for it by querying the merchants in this category for that particular product.
IQE Product Search also includes the user features described in the IQE Meatsearch product page: selection of the merchants to query, number of results, maximum query time, selection among the results, personal notes, and saving the selected items.
The results of a search can be easily integrated into a shopping portal, while preserving user activity tracking and affiliate tracking.
